Rotary Give Thanks Project and $10,000 Grant
What: Annually, the Rotary Club of Honolulu (RCOH) members participate in a community project with The Weinberg Foundation. The RCOH community service project must have a minimum of 25 RCOH volunteers and priority is given to organizations serving our focus area of children and/or education, After successful completion of the project, The Weinberg Foundation will give a $10,000 grant to a 501(c) 3 organization of our choice which serves low income and at risk populations. The RCOH Board of Directors will select the agency (which must be approved by The Weinberg Foundation) to which this grant is to be given from proposals that are submitted by
August 13, 2010.
$10,000 Grant Application Process
Requirements:
The agency must primarily serve low income and at risk populations and it must address our focus area of children and/or education.
Priority will be given to agencies that have not been given this grant in previous years and which have not had a work project on site from RCOH.
How to apply?
1 page proposal indicating how the money will be used, the duration of the project & what population will be served
Name, address, phone, email contact for the agency.
Copy of the agency’s Charter of Incorporation
Copy of the IRS 501 (c) 3 certificate
A list of the names and addresses of the members of the Board of the organization
Most recent financial statements
All grant proposal must be received no later than August 13, 2010 to:
