Charles A. Sted

 

Chuck is President and CEO of Hawaii Pacific Health, which is the parent of Kapi`olani, Straub, Pali Momi and Wilcox hospitals, three multi-specialty physician groups totaling 350 employed physicians and seven hundred active independent medical staff. Hawaii Pacific Health is affiliated with the John A. Burns School of Medicine and conducts extensive research and teaching. Employing 5400, Hawaii Pacific Health is the largest non-governmental employer in the islands.

 

An Eagle Scout, Chuck is the National Major Gifts Chairman of the Boy Scouts of America. He is Chairman of the Hawaii Pacific University Board of Trustees.  He is Chairman of the Board of United Laundry Services, one of the largest commercial laundries in the United States serving the health care and hotel market in the State of Hawai‘i and a Director of the Honolulu Academy of Arts. He has a long list of prior leadership positions as chairman or president of other Hawaii non-profits.

 

He is a graduate of University of Illinois with a BS and MBA and is Certified Public Accountant.

 

Chuck is always utilizing his skills and leadership to help business and community projects.
