The meeting was called to order by President Tim Johns in the Monarch Room of the Royal Hawaiian Hotel at 12 noon. Inspiration was given by Susan Robinson who spoke broadly on the value of friendship. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Bob Robinson. Linda Rich led the singing of "America the Beautiful" accompanied by Craig Robinson at the piano. Lance Kawano served as the Sergeant at Arms for the meeting, Michael Bass was the photorecorder, and visitor introductions were made by Rick Towill.
Roy Jones was introduced to the club as the newest member by his sponsor, Michael Bass.

The Medical School is at 651 Ilalo Street, corner of Cooke St. and Ilalo adjacent to Waterfront Park in Kaka'ako. Must RSVP to Mary to attend.
Linda Coble introduced our speaker Dave Berry whose title was "The Twenty Minute Rotarian" and was an entertaining, humorous and inspiration message. His line was "If we all do the best we can, we can do it all" with twenty minutes out of our 8,760 hours per year...with any combination of time in service and money. It’s a piece of cake, he reiterated, and a
drop in the bucket in the large view of our lives and our ability to make a difference.
President Tim adjourned the meeting promptly at 1 PM with the reminder next week's meeting will not be at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel, but at the UH Medical School.
Respectfully submitted,
Phil Wright
